There is something for everyone at A Big Day In at the Library. Come along to explore and discover there is so much more in your library and local community with displays and demonstrations. Share your artwork on the Art Laundry line.

Art Laundry - Interactive Art Exhibition. Presented by Whangarei Camera Club How does it work - bring 1 or 2 pieces of art you have created to A Big Day In at the Library. We will hang it on the Art Laundry Line. In exchange you can choose 1 or 2 artworks on the line to take home.

What type of art - photos, sketches or small paintings, cards, poems or short stories, small artworks such as painted rocks (there will be a display stand for these). Anything artistic or creative you want to share with our creative community.

Especially for children: - Story reading in the grotto under the stairs - sponsored by Storytime - Face painting - Wally Bot and Clifford the Dog

Plus: - Beagle Radio - Sausage sizzle by Whangarei Lion - Our new Mobile Library bus
