Social Media Moderation and Privacy Policy

We welcome feedback, comments and ideas, and endeavour to join the conversation where possible. However, we are not able to reply individually to all the messages we receive.

Our social media pages are monitored during business hours by our District Development team. 

We may not be able to get back to you straight away so if you require an immediate response or have an urgent enquiry after hours, please phone us on 0800 932 463.

If you have a query about a council service, we’ll do our best to investigate and find an answer for you. We might ask you to contact us via phone or email to help us get the details we need to action your request.

We have created these four basic rules to please keep in mind: 
1. We respect everyone’s right to express their thoughts and opinions and encourage constructive dialogue among members. We will not comment on political issues or get involved in debates. However, we ask that you are polite and respectful with your comments and views.
