Whangarei Fritter Festival

Opening at 5pm Tuesday 24th of April, all welcome!

Whangarei Art Museum is pleased to present Fight Flight a Community Gallery exhibition of monoprint, collage and drawings by Northland based artist Anneke Muijlwijk.

This exhibition is set against the sobering backdrop of the devastating stories of women and children that take, as their subject matter, the grim reality of families living in constant fear.

It draws upon Muijlwijk’s work as both a therapist and artist, and references her experience in the fields of Human Geography, Town Planning and Social Sciences.

Exhibition runs 24 April at 5pm until 27 May 2018.
