Coda EP Release Gig with Localize, OBC and DJ Hemz
Coda’s EP album, Bounce EP is ready for release! And to celebrate we’re having a party/gig.
Coda is a young, talented, rock band who put on a performance not to be missed! They’ve worked hard as a band doing gigs and shows to save up enough money to record their own 4 track EP album, which is finally ready for release and will be available for download very soon!
The band have began making a name for themselves playing gigs around Northland and opening for bigger acts like, Sons of Zion, Soljah, Nathan Haines… and more to come.
The music is a fresh taste of modern rock, with a unique feel to it. If ready in time there will also be hard copies of the album available on the night.
Coda will be joined by 6 piece reggae/rock band Localize, 4 piece local rap group OBC and DJ Hemz.
9pm till late.
Check out their Facebook page to keep up to date.

Butterbank, the newest bar venture in Whangarei and ideally located on Bank Street is the premier bar and restaurant in Northland. Native wood and leather subtly combine with open brickwork and mirrored surrounds to create an aesthetic and social atmosphere nothing short of uniquely exquisite. The decor’s excellence is matched wtih superbly trained staff and designer cocktails made by a world class and award winning mixologist. Coupled wtih the finest selection of spirits in Northland is the delectable selection of food ranging from authentic tapas to succulent stonebaked pizza produced by the local head chef.
“Walk away from the city centre and sink into wide worn brown leather seats and order a glass of Merlot. Ultimately understated, this hideaway is a welcome spot for laxing out. The option to sit outside on summer days with friends enjoy a beer or Pinot Gris sets a very relaxed tone around the cities corner. Alternatively, rage the nights away in the packed bar with plenty going on.” – Donna ( A Menumania review)
“Have recently moved to Whangarei and didn’t think there was anywhere decent to go out and then we discovered this place, great atmosphere, good tunes and a great drink selection, will definately be coming back!” – H (A Menumania review)
