A massive thank you to you all for your involvement and support of Artisans Fairs this summer. Our move to the Victoria Canopy in the Town Basin has had it’s challenges - mostly to do with this crazy weather, but on the whole, it’s been a wonderful time and the Artisans Fairs have been a colourful, fun & positive community event we can all be proud of. Whangarei rocks! We love it here!
As of today, all of the bridge markets are being postponed - as the erratic weather continues to be a challenge and stall holders are needing a much needed break for a few weeks. All going well, our final market for this season will take place on Easter Saturday. Our Easter Market is traditionally a fun family day, filled with Easter crafts, lots of stalls, food - and live entertainment provided by our local musicians.
We may also be organising a special market day in support of the International Rally - which has it’s base in the Town Basin. If this special Rally Market goes ahead, it will take place in the Sculpture Park on the ‘other’ end of the Town Basin on the 31st March…So watch this space.
We would sincerely appreciate you forwarding this message on to your friends, family and colleagues, and let everyone know that the markets have been postponed until the end of the month. We really would prefer people to know, and not turn up expecting to find a market and be disappointed.
Anyone wishing to book a stall for the Easter or Rally Markets - please email me at: artisansfair@gmail.com. If you haven’t done so already, check out some of the photos from this season.
