Ruapekapeka - The Last of the Northern Wars. An exhibition of artifacts from Chief Kawiti’s pa – the site of the last battle between Ngapuhi and the British in 1846. The construction of the Pa withstood 10 days of British fire and has been recognized as an engineering marvel.

Admission to Museum includes visit to Kiwi House and Heritage Park
