About this event

Five nautical miles off the coast of Tutukaka, a rock juts out of the ocean.

Part of the Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve, this islet is the half way point for a challenging waka ama race to commemorate Bo Herbert.

This inaugural race is open to single and two-man waka, with its start and finish in the Tutukaka Harbour.  Spectator and support craft are available.
