Oakura Bay’s “FISH, DIVE, & CRUISE” has been set up for people who want to catch fish! We’re here to help you have a really enjoyable time - weather you are a beginner who wants to master the basics of successful fishing, or already an accomplished lover of the ocean looking for action and fun. You can fish “hot spots” around Oakura Bay and the Whagaruru harbour, or cruise on “M.V. TOROA” (the albatross) to such exotic spots as the fabulous Poor Knights Island. You can target big fish around the incredible “Hole in the Rock” with the option of seafood feast, or a break to visit the historic remains of the old whaling station at Whangamumu.
