Northern Districts Aero Club
If there are two or more of you wanting to fly somewhere, you should consider chartering a plane and a pilot from the Aero Club. This is surprisingly economical and our planes are able to land and take off at some of the smaller airfields around the country, for example, Great Barrier Island & Pikes Point Auckland.
About this activity
Northland Districts Aero Club runs scenic flights around the North during the summer and winter months. This is a truly unique way to see Northland. Our aircraft fly relatively low and slow so the views are always stunning.These flights are a perfect present for somebody visiting Northland who hasn’t got enough time to drive around the whole region or for a person who does live here who perhaps wants to see what their house/ farm looks like from the air.
