Natural Wood Creations, also known as The Kauri Clock Factory, extract ancient kauri logs that have been preserved for thousands of years underground in peat swamps around Northland New Zealand and manufacture them into timeless, unique hand crafted products.

The crafting of the ancient swamp Kauri into beautiful clocks is a very labour intensive process taking several weeks to complete. Each piece is individually designed and carefully handled up to 20 times by Natural Wood Creation’s crafts people. The natural form and spectacular colours of the swamp Kauri make each clock unique - no two are ever the same!

The showroom displays over 3500 unique individually crafted swamp Kauri clocks (up to 50,000 years old) as well as many other hand crafted Kauri products.

Open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat/Sun 9am-4pm. Guided factory tours for groups of 5 or more can also be provided.
