About this activity

Discover one of the country’s largest public collections of native ferns. The Filmy Fernhouse is a purpose-built, adobe brick haven for the delicate ferns. The collection contains over eighty species of native fern. The heated Snow Conservatory has amazing displays of sub-tropical plants. Orchids, cyclamen and begonias are featured according to the season. Located close to the Cafler Park Rose Gardens.
