Love it Here Photo Competition
If you love Whangarei here’s your chance to show it! While you’re out taking your summer holiday snaps, think about capturing an image that shows why you love Whangarei and you could be in to win a Tutukaka Treat, including a Perfect Day Cruise for two, dinner for two at Schnappa Rock Cafe and an overnight stay at Oceans Resort Hotel.
Terms and Conditions
- Entries may be received between 21 December 2011 – 27 January 2012
- Photographs must be higher than 3mb files
- Photographs must reflect positive aspects of life in Whangarei (the words ‘Whangarei : Love it Here’ will be added to all winning designs to appear on billboards)
- Photo entries must specify location, your full name and your contact phone number
- Only three entries may be received per person
- Photos must be provided in landscape format, digitally
- By entering the competition, entrants are knowingly and willingly giving up the ownership, including copyright, of their images if they are selected as one of the winners. The winning designs will only be used as specified in competition details, as billboards and possibly other promotional material such as teatowels and postcards to positively promote Whangarei.
- The winning photographers will be available for publicity if required
- Each entry must be the original photograph of the person submitting it; entries must not have been previously published and must not be submitted elsewhere for any competition, or for publication in any form, until after the announcement of the results of this competition
- The competition organisers will be responsible for managing judging and public voting. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
- The Competition organisers accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries
- Winner of the top photo will be announced 25 February 2012
