Destination marketing website WhangareiNZ.com

With over 380,000 page views and more than 100,000 Users annually, WhangareiNZ.com is Whangarei's key marketing tool and is promoted in all digital and print marketing and campaign activities.

How to list your business on WhangareiNZ.com

WhangareiNZ.com accommodation, activity and transport listings are sourced directly from Tourism New Zealand's website NewZealand.com, which has over 10 million users every year. Once your business is registered and listed for free, and you agree to share the information with your Regional Tourism Organisation (look for the 'consent & authority' box), it will automatically be displayed on WhangareiNZ.com as a free listing.

To begin the process, go to register.newzealand.com and complete the 'sign up for free now' button. These are your own personal details and won't show on the websites. Once you have registered, add your business and listing along with logos, photos, videos, words and social media links.

One-stop registration means that you only have to go to one place, NewZealand.com to update your information for three successful marketing websites.

We recommend you check and update your listing on a regular basis, adding new photos, videos, specials, social media links and articles - keep your listing fresh and vibrant. And don't forget, if you need a hand - you're welcome to contact Tania Robson at Whangarei District Council for assistance.

Online Availability Calender & Bookings

Visitor consumer behaviour has forever changed. More and more visitors are booking their accommodation and activity bookings online. Make sure your potential customers can find  your business with a priority listing on WhangareiNZ.com and, we strongly recommend you provide online booking functionality on your website.

If you are a current BookIt customer and take a priority listing, your BookIt ID will be embedded and visible within WhangareiNZ.com. If you are not with BookIt, you will have an email and link directly through to your website. Find out more about BookIt.

Are You Holding An Event?

WhangareiNZ.com is the one-stop-shop for all events held in the Whangarei District. Whangarei based events feed through from Eventfinda, New Zealand's key engine and event calendar.

To leverage this exposure for your event, register for an account, add your event details and the listing is displayed on Eventfinda, WhangareiNZ.com and many other websites throughout the country, all for free!
