11.11 Armistice

About this image

Whangarei Fritter Festival

Sorry, this event has been and gone.

11.11 Armistice is an outdoor installation inspired by Armistice Day.

Original 2 and 3D animations by artist Kim Newall (AwhiWorld Productions) will be juxtaposed with archival images sourced from the WW100 publicity collection and Channel North video footage and projected onto the (RSA/Creative Northland) side of the Whangarei Library Building.

All images are mixed/performed 'live' on the evening so no two 'performances' will be the same.

The event is kindly supported by Creative Northland.
