Whangarei's Endless Summer

Whangarei’s Endless Summer is almost upon us with an endless array of events lined up for us to keep us happy while the sun shines.

The Whangarei Endless Summer this year will be approximately 40 events designed for residents and tourists alike to be endlessly entertained and encourage us all to get out there and experience our beautiful region.

There is something for everyone this year with fantastic family events like the Kids Triathlon to an evening down at the Town Basin watching the Open Air cinema. For the more mature of us the More FM Winery Tour, Rock on Vine and plenty of other exciting events are included. Meanwhile, if you are after a bit of culture there is the Sculpture Symposium, Opera in the Garden, and the Whangarei Outdoor Sculpture & Garden Art Exhibition and Garden Discovery Tour. Sports fanatics are covered with fishing competitions to road bike races.

In fact every event highlights the best that the Whangarei district has to offer. Let us start the decade off with a long hot endless summer that only Northland can provide in our subtropical climate, perfect for indoor and outdoor entertainment.
