Northland Chamber

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Northland (Inc) is a non-political, non-profit organisation which represents the full spectrum of business interests, both small and large, in Northland – retailing, service, manufacturing exporters, importers and other organisations.

Entries are now open for the Northland Business Excellence Awards. 

The Awards process culminates in a fantastic networking evening celebrating our local businesses, business people and their achievements. The Chamber offers great support, there is an Awards Business Coach who can review your entry and guide you through, so do have a think about entering.

Northland Inc – Economic Development agency

The Regional Business Partner Network (RBPN) can help you if you’re interested in investing in business growth and development. Through this network you can have your own Growth Advisor to step you through the process and understand if your business can access 50% funded vouchers to support your business to grow and succeed.

Through this initiative, Northland Inc have distributed tens of thousands of dollars towards business training and more than $5 million in technology and development funding to businesses throughout the region. 

The Pick

The Pick, run by Northland Inc, is a business ideas competition that helps people who have an idea - or who want to have an idea - to test and develop it into a business model.

You'll be supported over a 10 week programme by business experts to help explore and hone your idea. Finalists will be chosen to present their idea on Pitch Night where the overall winner will be chosen by our panel of business experts. 

Te Kōrau

Te Kōrau is a wānanga-based business development programme that equips aspiring rakahinonga (entrepreneurs) with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn an idea, talent, or passion into a sustainable business venture.
